Regan Stathers is the Chief Infrastructure Officer at Whiddon, an industry-leading, not-for-profit aged care organisation caring for close to 3,000 people through Residential Aged Care, Community Care and Retirement Living.
Regan Stathers is a dynamic and accomplished Executive who has left an indelible mark on the aged care industry through his continued emphasis on best practice implementation of technology and property resources. With a passion for innovation and real-world technology solutions that promote enablement and a desire to foster communities with the best practice living environments, Regan continuously redefines operational excellence in the aged care sector with experience in large for-profit and not-for-profit providers.
Since joining Whiddon, Regan has led several organisational initiatives including over $85 million in redevelopments of Whiddon’s Care Homes in Wingham, Narrabri and Bourke and guided successful acquisition plans in Moree, Mudgee, and Beaudesert. He was also the driving force behind Whiddon’s Grafton Residential Aged Care Home development, and the Redhead Residential Aged Care Home redeveloped which was first designed to promote deep embedding of Whiddon’s award-winning Relationship Based Care Model through the physical living environment.
It is an insatiable appetite for information that drives Regan. He spearheaded the process of revamping Whiddon’s systems to shift them toward a robust, data-orientated ecosystem to establish solid future-looking foundation for the business.
Navigating the complex landscape of aged care with finesse, Regan spearheads initiatives that have not only enriched the lives of clients but have also forged lasting partnerships with stakeholders, enhancing outcomes for the industry and older Australians.
His unwavering dedication to excellence has propelled him to pioneer innovative solutions that contribute to shaping the aged care industry's future trajectory, promoting effective and efficient outcomes with technology.
Regan is a highly sought-after representative and has consulted with the industry peak body ACCPA, working on new technologies in aged care whilst keeping the perspective of a not-for-profit provider.
Regan joined the Whiddon family in 2012 and previously held the position of Information & Communications Technology Manager until assuming his current role in 2016. He holds an MBA from UNSW Business School and a Bachelor of Science from UNSW.
